TRAVEL TO EUROPE GRATIS WITH YOUR JUNIOR TENNIS TEAM
"
The job was incredibly rewarding."

Tennis: Europe, now in its 47th summer of taking junior players to tournament circuits on the continent in summer, is offering a unique opportunity to tennis professionals and college/ high school tennis coaches. If you bring at least 6 players on your team with you, 13 to 18 years of age, you will get a free trip to Europe for yourself, along with a compensation package for you as the team's coach. You can even "customize" your itinerary to select the dates and countries which you and your players wish for your itinerary. If you bring less than 6 players, you are still eligible to receive a substantial commission for your efforts.

The goal of this tournament trip is to give your team a massive amount of tournament matches in a short period of time, focusing on improving strategy and mental approach and adding red claycourts skills to your players' games.

Two-time past participant Melissa Parrish of Massachusetts, who joined the Tennis: Europe coaching staff for last summer 2019, wrote a first hand account of her experiences as a team coach. This recently was included in the "Parenting Aces" tennis blog, thanks to Lisa Stone:

Melissa: "Promoting and talking about my Tennis; Europe trips as a high school player always made me want to go again. I was fortunate enough to go again, this time as a coach. I was ready to take on the full Tennis: Europe experience from a new perspective and was ready for a different kind of a challenge. I figured since I had been on the trip twice, I would have it all figured out. As a player, I did not realize all the time and effort the coaches put into make this trip run smoothly in order to be successful. As a coach, it was much more challenging with a lot more responsibility trying to figure out all the logistics. However, I did enjoy having some control over our plans. The job was incredibly rewarding. My favorite part was witnessing kids develop a passion for tennis and travel. I also learned a lot about myself. I found a niche for coaching and working with athletes."
