DOUBLES - Hingis & Chan Keep Hradecka & Siniakova In Check, Claim Indian Wells Title - No.6 seeds Martina Hingis and Chan Yung-Jan powered their way the BNP Paribas Open doubles title with a straight sets win over Lucie Hradecka and Katerina Siniakova.

The pair proved more decisive in the big moments, converting each of the seven break point chances they created, and allowing the Czechs just five of their eight.
"A huge thanks to my partner Latisha (Yung-Jan), we're playing in our third tournament together and she helped me in the previous two to just believe in myself again," Hingis acknowledged in the trophy presentation. "I won here a couple of years ago with Sania, so to be back here on this court again and playing the final is amazing."

SINGLES - Federer Wins Fifth Indian Wells Title
Swiss star captures his 90th tour-level crown in the desert
The incredible comeback continues. Roger Federer won a record-tying fifth BNP Paribas Open crown on Sunday as he defeated Stan Wawrinka 6-4, 7-5 in an all-Swiss final at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden.
The Swiss endured a six-month injury layoff at the end of 2016, but returned to tour-level action at the start of the season in spectacular fashion, capturing his 18th Grand Slam championship at the Australian Open with a five-set victory over Rafael Nadal.
"It's been just a fairytale week once again," said Federer. "I'm still on the comeback. I hope my body is going to allow me to keep on playing. I was very sad when I couldn't come here last year. Just being here is a beautiful feeling. It's one of my favorite tournaments. I came here for the first time 17 years ago. So to be here again as the champion is an amazing feeling."

DOUBLES - Klaasen And Birthday Boy Ram Win Indian Wells Doubles Title
Sixth seeds clinch first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title
Rajeev Ram gave himself the best possible 33rd birthday present on Saturday at the BNP Paribas Open, teaming with Raven Klaasen to defeat eighth seeds Lukasz Kubot and Marcelo Melo 6-7(1), 6-4, 10-8 to take the doubles title in Indian Wells.
The victory gives Klaasen and Ram their first ATP World Tour Masters 1000 title as a team. It's the first Masters 1000 title for Ram and second for Klaasen, who previously won Shanghai in 2015 with Melo. This is Klaasen/Ram's fifth title as a team and second of 2017, having also prevailed last month in Delray Beach.
Four of their five matches this fortnight went to a Match Tie-break. Klaasen/Ram also have the unique distinction of recording back-to-back wins in this tournament over Rafael Nadal (w/Tomic) and Novak Djokovic (w/Troicki) in their second-round and quarter-final matches.

Tournament abbreviations

WC
= wildcard (given by the tournament to a player that could not get in on their ranking, or did not enter in time.

PR = protected ranking. This is used when a player has been out for a certain period of time due to injury (I think it's at least 6 months) and their ranking slips down to where they wouldn't get in on their current ranking.

Q = Qualifier.

A = Alternate. Used in qualifying when a player withdraws before their first match. Also used in main draw if there was no qualifying draw and the draw was full before the player withdrew.

LL = Lucky loser. A player that loses in qualifying (usually the final round unless none of the final round losers sign the lucky loser list) and gets into main draw when a main draw player withdraws before their first match.

SE = Special exempt. A player who signed into qualifying of a tournament, but was still playing in the previous week's tournament at the time the qualifying draw was done. This player can get a special exempt into the main draw the following week.
